창세기 27장 [킹제임스]

1. 1 When Isaac was old and his eyes were so weak that he could no longer see, he called for Esau his older son and said to him, "My son." "Here I am," he answered.

   1 이삭이 나이 들어 눈이 어두워서 볼 수 없을 때에 자기 맏아들 에서를 불러 그에게 이르되, 내 아들아, 하니 에서가 그에게 이르되, 보소서, 내가 여기 있나이다, 하므로

2. 2 Isaac said, "I am now an old man and dont know the day of my death.

   2 그가 이르되, 이제 보라, 내가 늙어 나의 죽을 날을 알지 못하나니

3. 3 Now then, get your weapons--your quiver and bow--and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.

   3 그러므로 이제 원하건대 네 무기 곧 네 화살통과 활을 가지고 들로 나가서 나를 위해 사냥한 고기를 얼마 가져다가

4. 4 Prepare me the kind of tasty food I like and bring it to me to eat, so that I may give you my blessing before I die."

   4 나를 위해 내가 좋아하는 맛있는 음식을 만들고 그것을 내게 가져와 내가 먹게 함으로써 내가 죽기 전에 내 혼이 너를 축복하게 하라, 하니라.

5. 5 Now Rebekah was listening as Isaac spoke to his son Esau. When Esau left for the open country to hunt game and bring it back,

   5 이삭이 자기 아들 에서에게 말할 때에 리브가가 들었으며 에서는 사냥하여 고기를 가져오려고 들로 갔더라.

6. 6 Rebekah said to her son Jacob, "Look, I overheard your father say to your brother Esau,

   6 ¶ 리브가가 자기 아들 야곱에게 말하여 이르되, 보라, 네 아버지께서 네 형 에서에게 말씀하시는 것을 내가 들었는데 이르시기를,

7. 7 Bring me some game and prepare me some tasty food to eat, so that I may give you my blessing in the presence of the LORD before I die.

   7 나를 위해 사냥한 고기를 가져다가 나를 위해 맛있는 음식을 만들어 내가 먹게 하고 내가 죽기 전에 주 앞에서 너를 축복하게 하라, 하셨느니라.

8. 8 Now, my son, listen carefully and do what I tell you:

   8 내 아들아, 그러므로 이제 내가 네게 명령하는 것대로 내 음성에 순종하라.

9. 9 Go out to the flock and bring me two choice young goats, so I can prepare some tasty food for your father, just the way he likes it.

   9 이제 염소 떼가 있는 데로 가서 거기서 염소들 중에서 좋은 새끼 두 마리를 내게 가져오라. 그러면 내가 그것들로 네 아버지를 위해 그분께서 좋아하시는 맛있는 음식을 만들리니

10. 10 Then take it to your father to eat, so that he may give you his blessing before he dies."

    10 너는 그것을 네 아버지께 가지고 가서 그분께서 드시고 돌아가시기 전에 너를 축복하시게 하라, 하매

11. 11 Jacob said to Rebekah his mother, "But my brother Esau is a hairy man, and Im a man with smooth skin.

    11 야곱이 자기 어머니 리브가에게 이르되, 보소서, 내 형 에서는 털이 많은 사람이요, 나는 민숭민숭한 사람이므로

12. 12 What if my father touches me? I would appear to be tricking him and would bring down a curse on myself rather than a blessing."

    12 혹시 내 아버지께서 나를 만지신다면 어찌하리이까? 내가 아버지께 속이는 자로 보이리니 그러면 내가 복은 고사하고 내게 저주를 가져오리이다, 하매

13. 13 His mother said to him, "My son, let the curse fall on me. Just do what I say; go and get them for me."

    13 그의 어머니가 그에게 이르되, 내 아들아, 너를 향한 저주는 내게 닥치리니 다만 내 음성에 순종하고 가서 그것들을 내게 가져오라, 하매

14. 14 So he went and got them and brought them to his mother, and she prepared some tasty food, just the way his father liked it.

    14 그가 가서 그것들을 가져와 자기 어머니에게 가져다주니 그의 어머니가 그의 아버지가 좋아하는 맛있는 음식을 만들었더라.

15. 15 Then Rebekah took the best clothes of Esau her older son, which she had in the house, and put them on her younger son Jacob.

    15 또 리브가가 자기가 집에 맡아 둔 자기의 맏아들 에서의 좋은 옷을 취해 자기의 작은아들 야곱에게 입힌 뒤

16. 16 She also covered his hands and the smooth part of his neck with the goatskins.

    16 염소들 중에서 새끼들의 가죽을 그의 손과 그의 목의 민숭민숭한 곳에 붙여 주고

17. 17 Then she handed to her son Jacob the tasty food and the bread she had made.

    17 자기가 예비한 맛있는 음식과 빵을 자기 아들 야곱의 손에 주었더라.

18. 18 He went to his father and said, "My father." "Yes, my son," he answered. "Who is it?"

    18 ¶ 야곱이 자기 아버지에게 가서 이르되, 내 아버지여, 하니 그가 이르기를, 내가 여기 있노라. 내 아들아, 너는 누구냐? 하매

19. 19 Jacob said to his father, "I am Esau your firstborn. I have done as you told me. Please sit up and eat some of my game so that you may give me your blessing."

    19 야곱이 자기 아버지에게 이르되, 나는 아버지의 맏아들 에서이니이다. 아버지께서 내게 명령하신 대로 내가 하였사오니 원하건대 일어나 앉으셔서 내가 사냥한 고기를 잡수시고 아버지의 혼이 나를 축복하소서, 하므로

20. 20 Isaac asked his son, "How did you find it so quickly, my son?" "The LORD your God gave me success," he replied.

    20 이삭이 자기 아들에게 이르기를, 내 아들아, 네가 어떻게 그것을 이같이 속히 찾았느냐? 하니 그가 이르되, 주 아버지의 하나님께서 그것을 내게 가져다주셨나이다, 하매

21. 21 Then Isaac said to Jacob, "Come near so I can touch you, my son, to know whether you really are my son Esau or not."

    21 이삭이 야곱에게 이르되, 내 아들아, 원하건대 가까이 오라. 네가 정말 내 아들 에서인지 아닌지 알기 위해 내가 너를 만지려 하노라, 하니

22. 22 Jacob went close to his father Isaac, who touched him and said, "The voice is the voice of Jacob, but the hands are the hands of Esau."

    22 야곱이 자기 아버지 이삭에게 가까이 가매 이삭이 그를 만지고 이르되, 음성은 야곱의 음성이나 손은 에서의 손이로다, 하며

23. 23 He did not recognize him, for his hands were hairy like those of his brother Esau; so he blessed him.

    23 그의 손이 그의 형 에서의 손처럼 털이 있으므로 그를 분간하지 못하고 이에 그를 축복하였더라.

24. 24 "Are you really my son Esau?" he asked. "I am," he replied.

    24 이삭이 이르되, 네가 정말 내 아들 에서냐? 하니 그가 이르기를, 그러하니이다, 하매

25. 25 Then he said, "My son, bring me some of your game to eat, so that I may give you my blessing." Jacob brought it to him and he ate; and he brought some wine and he drank.

    25 이삭이 이르되, 그것을 내게 가까이 가져오라. 내가 내 아들의 사냥한 고기를 먹고 내 혼이 너를 축복하리라, 하니 야곱이 그것을 그에게 가까이 가져가매 이삭이 먹었고 야곱이 포도즙을 그에게 가져가니 이삭이 마셨더라.

26. 26 Then his father Isaac said to him, "Come here, my son, and kiss me."

    26 그의 아버지 이삭이 그에게 이르되, 내 아들아, 이제 가까이 와서 내게 입을 맞추라, 하매

27. 27 So he went to him and kissed him. When Isaac caught the smell of his clothes, he blessed him and said, "Ah, the smell of my son is like the smell of a field that the LORD has blessed.

    27 야곱이 가까이 가서 그에게 입을 맞추니 이삭이 그의 옷 냄새를 맡고 그를 축복하여 이르되, 보라, 내 아들의 냄새는 주께서 복 주신 들의 냄새와 같도다.

28. 28 May God give you of heavens dew and of earths richness--an abundance of grain and new wine.

    28 그러므로 하나님께서 하늘의 이슬과 땅의 기름짐과 풍성한 곡식과 포도즙을 네게 주시기를 원하노라.

29. 29 May nations serve you and peoples bow down to you. Be lord over your brothers, and may the sons of your mother bow down to you. May those who curse you be cursed and those who bless you be blessed."

    29 백성들이 너를 섬기고 민족들이 네게 절하리니 네가 네 형제들의 주(主)가 되고 네 어머니의 아들들이 네게 절할 것이니라. 너를 저주하는 자는 다 저주를 받고 너를 축복하는 자는 복을 받기를 원하노라, 하니라.

30. 30 After Isaac finished blessing him and Jacob had scarcely left his fathers presence, his brother Esau came in from hunting.

    30 ¶ 이삭이 야곱을 축복하기를 마친 뒤 야곱이 그의 아버지 이삭의 얼굴 앞에서 나가자 곧바로 그의 형 에서가 사냥을 마치고 들어오니라.

31. 31 He too prepared some tasty food and brought it to his father. Then he said to him, "My father, sit up and eat some of my game, so that you may give me your blessing."

    31 에서도 맛있는 음식을 만들어 그것을 자기 아버지에게 가지고 가서 자기 아버지에게 이르되, 내 아버지여, 일어나사 아버지의 아들이 사냥한 고기를 잡수시고 아버지의 혼이 나를 축복하소서, 하니

32. 32 His father Isaac asked him, "Who are you?" "I am your son," he answered, "your firstborn, Esau."

    32 그의 아버지 이삭이 그에게 이르되, 너는 누구냐? 하매 그가 이르기를, 나는 아버지의 아들 곧 아버지의 맏아들 에서이니이다, 하므로

33. 33 Isaac trembled violently and said, "Who was it, then, that hunted game and brought it to me? I ate it just before you came and I blessed him--and indeed he will be blessed!"

    33 이삭이 몹시 심하게 떨며 이르되, 누구라고? 사냥한 고기를 취해 내게 가져온 자는 어디 있느냐? 네가 오기 전에 내가 다 먹고 그를 축복하였으니 참으로 그가 복을 받을 것이니라, 하니라.

34. 34 When Esau heard his fathers words, he burst out with a loud and bitter cry and said to his father, "Bless me--me too, my father!"

    34 에서가 자기 아버지의 말을 듣고 큰 소리로 심히 비통하게 부르짖으며 자기 아버지에게 이르되, 오 내 아버지여, 나를 축복하소서. 참으로 나도 축복하소서, 하니

35. 35 But he said, "Your brother came deceitfully and took your blessing."

    35 이삭이 이르기를, 네 동생이 간교하게 와서 네 복을 빼앗아 갔도다, 하매

36. 36 Esau said, "Isnt he rightly named Jacob? He has deceived me these two times: He took my birthright, and now hes taken my blessing!" Then he asked, "Havent you reserved any blessing for me?"

    36 에서가 이르되, 그의 이름을 야곱이라 함이 옳지 아니하니이까? 그가 이같이 두 번이나 내 것을 빼앗아 대신 차지하였나이다. 그가 나의 장자권을 빼앗더니, 보소서, 이제는 내 복을 빼앗았나이다, 하고 또 이르되, 아버지께서 나를 위해 빌 복을 남기지 아니하셨나이까? 하니라.

37. 37 Isaac answered Esau, "I have made him lord over you and have made all his relatives his servants, and I have sustained him with grain and new wine. So what can I possibly do for you, my son?"

    37 이삭이 에서에게 대답하여 이르되, 보라, 내가 그를 너의 주(主)로 세우고 그의 모든 형제들을 그에게 종으로 주었으며 곡식과 포도즙으로 그를 떠받쳐 주었으니, 내 아들아, 이제 내가 네게 무엇을 할 수 있으랴? 하매

38. 38 Esau said to his father, "Do you have only one blessing, my father? Bless me too, my father!" Then Esau wept aloud.

    38 에서가 자기 아버지에게 이르되, 내 아버지여, 아버지의 축복의 말이 하나뿐이리이까? 오 내 아버지여, 나를 축복하소서. 참으로 나도 축복하소서, 하고 소리 높여 우니

39. 39 His father Isaac answered him, "Your dwelling will be away from the earths richness, away from the dew of heaven above.

    39 그의 아버지 이삭이 그에게 대답하여 이르되, 보라, 네가 거할 곳은 땅의 기름진 곳과 위로부터 내리는 하늘 이슬의 기름진 곳이 되리라.

40. 40 You will live by the sword and you will serve your brother. But when you grow restless, you will throw his yoke from off your neck."

    40 너는 칼을 의지하여 살고 네 동생을 섬길 것이며 네가 통치권을 갖게 될 때에야 비로소 네 목에서 그의 멍에를 끊어 버리리라, 하였더라.

41. 41 Esau held a grudge against Jacob because of the blessing his father had given him. He said to himself, "The days of mourning for my father are near; then I will kill my brother Jacob."

    41 ¶ 자기 아버지가 야곱을 축복할 때 말한 그 축복의 말로 인해 에서가 그를 미워하여 마음속으로 이르기를, 내 아버지로 인해 애곡할 날들이 가까우니 그때에 내가 내 동생 야곱을 죽이리라, 하므로

42. 42 When Rebekah was told what her older son Esau had said, she sent for her younger son Jacob and said to him, "Your brother Esau is consoling himself with the thought of killing you.

    42 어떤 이가 리브가의 맏아들 에서의 이 말들을 그녀에게 고하매 그녀가 사람을 보내어 자기의 작은아들 야곱을 부르고 그에게 이르되, 보라, 너에 관하여는 네 형 에서가 너를 죽이려고 작정함으로써 스스로 위안을 얻고 있나니

43. 43 Now then, my son, do what I say: Flee at once to my brother Laban in Haran.

    43 내 아들아, 그러므로 이제 너는 내 음성에 순종하고 일어나 하란에 있는 내 오라버니 라반에게로 도망하여

44. 44 Stay with him for a while until your brothers fury subsides.

    44 네 형의 격노가 떠날 때까지 몇 날 동안 그와 함께 거하라.

45. 45 When your brother is no longer angry with you and forgets what you did to him, Ill send word for you to come back from there. Why should I lose both of you in one day?"

    45 네 형의 분노가 너를 떠나고 네가 그에게 행한 것을 그가 잊어버리거든 그때에 내가 사람을 보내어 너를 거기서 데려오리라. 어찌하여 내가 한 날에 또한 너희 둘을 다 잃으랴? 하고

46. 46 Then Rebekah said to Isaac, "Im disgusted with living because of these Hittite women. If Jacob takes a wife from among the women of this land, from Hittite women like these, my life will not be worth living."

    46 리브가가 이삭에게 이르되, 내가 헷의 딸들로 인해 살기에 지쳤는데 야곱이 만일 이 땅의 딸들인 이 여자들 곧 헷의 딸들 중에서 아내를 취하면 내 삶이 내게 무슨 유익을 주겠나이까? 하였더라.
