창세기 6장 [킹제임스]

1. 1 When men began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them,

   1 사람들이 지면에서 번성하기 시작하고 그들에게 딸들이 태어나매

2. 2 the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose.

   2 하나님의 아들들이 사람들의 딸들을 보되 그들이 아름다운 것을 보고 자기들이 택한 모든 자를 자기를 위해 아내로 삼으니라.

3. 3 Then the LORD said, "My Spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is mortal; his days will be a hundred and twenty years."

   3 주께서 이르시되, 내 영이 항상 사람과 다투지는 아니하리니 이는 그도 육체이기 때문이라. 그럼에도 그의 날들은 백이십 년이 되리라, 하시니라.

4. 4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days--and also afterward--when the sons of God went to the daughters of men and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.

   4 당시에 땅에는 거인들이 있었고 그 뒤에도 즉 하나님의 아들들이 사람들의 딸들에게로 들어가 그들이 저들에게 아이들을 낳았을 때에도 있었는데 바로 이들이 옛적의 강력한 자들 즉 명성 있는 자들이 되었더라.

5. 5 The LORD saw how great mans wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time.

   5 ¶ 하나님께서 사람의 사악함이 땅에서 크고 그가 마음으로 생각하여 상상하는 모든 것이 계속 악할 뿐임을 보시고는

6. 6 The LORD was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain.

   6 주께서 땅 위에 사람을 만드신 것으로 인해 슬퍼하시고 그것으로 인해 마음에 근심하시며

7. 7 So the LORD said, "I will wipe mankind, whom I have created, from the face of the earth--men and animals, and creatures that move along the ground, and birds of the air--for I am grieved that I have made them."

   7 주께서 이르시되, 내가 창조한 사람을 내가 지면에서 멸하되 사람과 짐승과 기는 것과 공중의 날짐승까지 다 멸하리니 이는 내가 그들을 만든 것으로 인해 슬퍼하기 때문이라, 하시니라.

8. 8 But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD.

   8 그러나 노아는 주의 눈앞에서 은혜를 입었더라.

9. 9 This is the account of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked with God.

   9 ¶ 노아의 세대들은 이러하니라. 노아는 자기 세대 사람들 가운데서 의인이며 완전하였고 노아는 하나님과 함께 걸었으며

10. 10 Noah had three sons: Shem, Ham and Japheth.

    10 노아가 세 아들 곧 셈과 함과 야벳을 낳았더라.

11. 11 Now the earth was corrupt in Gods sight and was full of violence.

    11 땅도 하나님 앞에서 부패하여 땅이 폭력으로 가득 찼으므로

12. 12 God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways.

    12 하나님께서 땅을 보시니, 보라, 그것이 부패하였더라. 이는 땅 위에서 모든 육체가 자기 길을 부패시켰기 때문이라.

13. 13 So God said to Noah, "I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth.

    13 하나님께서 노아에게 이르시되, 모든 육체의 끝이 내 앞에 다가왔으니 이는 땅이 그들로 인해 폭력으로 가득 찼기 때문이라. 보라, 내가 그들을 땅과 함께 멸하리라.

14. 14 So make yourself an ark of cypress wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out.

    14 ¶ 너는 고펠나무로 너를 위해 방주를 짓고 방주 안에 방들을 만들며 역청으로 그것의 안팎을 칠할지니라.

15. 15 This is how you are to build it: The ark is to be 450 feet long, 75 feet wide and 45 feet high.

    15 네가 만들 방주의 모양은 이러하니 방주의 길이는 삼백 큐빗이요, 너비는 오십 큐빗이며 높이는 삼십 큐빗이니라.

16. 16 Make a roof for it and finish the ark to within 18 inches of the top. Put a door in the side of the ark and make lower, middle and upper decks.

    16 너는 방주에 창을 만들되 위에서부터 일 큐빗 안에다 그것을 완성하고 방주의 문은 방주 옆으로 내며 그것을 아래층 둘째 층 셋째 층으로 만들지니라.

17. 17 I am going to bring floodwaters on the earth to destroy all life under the heavens, every creature that has the breath of life in it. Everything on earth will perish.

    17 보라, 나 곧 내가 땅 위에 물들의 홍수를 일으켜 속에 생명의 숨이 들어 있는 모든 육체를 하늘 아래에서 멸하리니 땅에 있는 모든 것이 죽으리라.

18. 18 But I will establish my covenant with you, and you will enter the ark--you and your sons and your wife and your sons wives with you.

    18 그러나 너와는 내가 내 언약을 세우리니 너는 너와 네 아들들과 네 아내와 또 너와 함께한 네 아들들의 아내들과 함께 방주로 들어올지니라.

19. 19 You are to bring into the ark two of all living creatures, male and female, to keep them alive with you.

    19 너는 모든 육체의 모든 살아 있는 것 중에서 종류마다 두 마리를 방주로 데리고 들어와 그것들이 너와 함께 살아남게 할지니 그것들은 수컷과 암컷이어야 하리라.

20. 20 Two of every kind of bird, of every kind of animal and of every kind of creature that moves along the ground will come to you to be kept alive.

    20 날짐승이 그것들의 종류대로, 가축이 그것들의 종류대로, 땅의 모든 기는 것이 그것의 종류대로 종류마다 두 마리가 네게 오리니 그것들을 살아남게 하라.

21. 21 You are to take every kind of food that is to be eaten and store it away as food for you and for them."

    21 또 너는 먹을 수 있는 모든 음식을 네게로 가져다가 네 앞에 모으라. 그것이 너와 그것들의 음식이 되리라, 하시니

22. 22 Noah did everything just as God commanded him.

    22 노아가 이같이 행하되 하나님께서 자기에게 명령하신 모든 것에 따라 그대로 행하였더라.
