출애굽기 11장 [킹제임스]

1. 1 Now the LORD had said to Moses, "I will bring one more plague on Pharaoh and on Egypt. After that, he will let you go from here, and when he does, he will drive you out completely.

   1 주께서 모세에게 이르시되, 내가 다시 한 재앙을 파라오와 이집트 위에 더 내리리니 그 뒤에 그가 너희를 여기에서 가게 하리라. 그가 너희를 가게 할 때에는 반드시 여기에서 너희를 다 쫓아내리니

2. 2 Tell the people that men and women alike are to ask their neighbors for articles of silver and gold."

   2 이제 백성의 귀에 고하여 각 남자는 자기 이웃 남자에게 각 여자는 자기 이웃 여자에게 은보석과 금보석을 빌리게 하라, 하시니라.

3. 3 (The LORD made the Egyptians favorably disposed toward the people, and Moses himself was highly regarded in Egypt by Pharaohs officials and by the people.)

   3 주께서 이집트 사람들 눈앞에서 백성에게 호의를 베푸셨고 더욱이 그 사람 모세는 이집트 땅에서 파라오의 신하들의 눈앞과 백성의 눈앞에서 심히 위대하게 되었더라.

4. 4 So Moses said, "This is what the LORD says: About midnight I will go throughout Egypt.

   4 모세가 이르되, 주께서 이같이 말씀하시기를, 자정이 될 즈음에 내가 나가서 이집트 한가운데로 들어가리니

5. 5 Every firstborn son in Egypt will die, from the firstborn son of Pharaoh, who sits on the throne, to the firstborn son of the slave girl, who is at her hand mill, and all the firstborn of the cattle as well.

   5 이집트 땅의 처음 난 모든 것은 왕좌에 앉아 있는 파라오의 처음 난 자부터 맷돌 뒤에 있는 여종의 처음 난 자까지 죽고 짐승들의 처음 난 모든 것도 죽으리라.

6. 6 There will be loud wailing throughout Egypt--worse than there has ever been or ever will be again.

   6 이집트 온 땅 전역에 큰 부르짖음이 있을 터인데 그와 같은 것은 전에도 없었고 앞으로도 다시는 없으리라.

7. 7 But among the Israelites not a dog will bark at any man or animal. Then you will know that the LORD makes a distinction between Egypt and Israel.

   7 그러나 이스라엘 자손을 향해서는 사람에게나 짐승에게나 개 한 마리도 자기 혀를 움직이지 아니하리니 이로써 주가 이집트 사람들과 이스라엘 사이에 구별을 두는 줄을 너희가 알리라, 하시나니

8. 8 All these officials of yours will come to me, bowing down before me and saying, Go, you and all the people who follow you! After that I will leave." Then Moses, hot with anger, left Pharaoh.

   8 왕의 이 모든 신하들이 내게 내려와 내게 절하며 이르기를, 당신과 당신을 따르는 온 백성은 나가소서, 한 뒤에야 비로소 내가 나가리이다, 하고 그가 심히 분노하여 파라오에게서 물러가니라.

9. 9 The LORD had said to Moses, "Pharaoh will refuse to listen to you--so that my wonders may be multiplied in Egypt."

   9 주께서 모세에게 이르시되, 파라오가 너희 말에 귀를 기울이지 아니할 것이므로 이집트 땅에서 내 이적들이 많이 있으리라, 하셨더라.

10. 10 Moses and Aaron performed all these wonders before Pharaoh, but the LORD hardened Pharaohs heart, and he would not let the Israelites go out of his country.

    10 모세와 아론이 이 모든 이적들을 파라오 앞에서 행하였으나 주께서 파라오의 마음을 강퍅하게 하셨으므로 그가 이스라엘 자손을 자기 땅에서 내보내려 하지 아니하였더라.
