출애굽기 20장 [킹제임스]

1. 1 And God spoke all these words:

   1 하나님께서 이 모든 말씀들로 말씀하여 이르시니라.

2. 2 "I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

   2 나는 너를 이집트 땅 곧 속박의 집에서 데리고 나온 주 네 하나님이니라.

3. 3 "You shall have no other gods before me.

   3 너는 내 앞에 다른 신들을 두지 말라.

4. 4 "You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.

   4 너는 너를 위해 어떤 새긴 형상도 만들지 말고 위로 하늘에 있는 것이나 아래로 땅에 있는 것이나 땅 아래 물속에 있는 것의 어떤 모습도 만들지 말며

5. 5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,

   5 그것들에게 절하지 말고 그것들을 섬기지 말라. 나 곧 주 네 하나님은 질투하는 하나님이니 나는 나를 미워하는 자들에게는 아버지들의 불법을 자손들에게 벌하여 삼사 대까지 이르게 하지만

6. 6 but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.

   6 나를 사랑하고 내 명령들을 지키는 수천의 사람들에게는 긍휼을 베푸느니라.

7. 7 "You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God, for the LORD will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.

   7 너는 주 네 하나님의 이름을 헛되이 취하지 말라. 주가 자신의 이름을 헛되이 취하는 자를 죄 없다 하지 아니하리라.

8. 8 "Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.

   8 안식일을 기억하여 거룩히 지키라.

9. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work,

   9 엿새 동안 너는 수고하고 네 모든 일을 할 것이나

10. 10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your animals, nor the alien within your gates.

    10 일곱째 날은 주 네 하나님의 안식일이니 그날에는 너나 네 아들이나 네 딸이나 네 남종이나 네 여종이나 네 가축이나 네 문 안에 거하는 네 나그네나 아무 일도 하지 말라.

11. 11 For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

    11 이는 엿새 동안에 주가 하늘과 땅과 바다와 그것들 안에 있는 모든 것을 만들고 일곱째 날 안식하였기 때문이니 그러므로 주가 안식일을 복되게 하여 그날을 거룩하게 하였느니라.

12. 12 "Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you.

    12 ¶ 네 아버지와 어머니를 공경하라. 그러면 주 네 하나님이 네게 주는 땅에서 네 날들이 길리라.

13. 13 "You shall not murder.

    13 너는 살인하지 말라.

14. 14 "You shall not commit adultery.

    14 너는 간음하지 말라.

15. 15 "You shall not steal.

    15 너는 도둑질하지 말라.

16. 16 "You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.

    16 너는 네 이웃을 대적하여 거짓 증언을 하지 말라.

17. 17 "You shall not covet your neighbors house. You shall not covet your neighbors wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor."

    17 너는 네 이웃의 집을 탐내지 말며 네 이웃의 아내나 그의 남종이나 그의 여종이나 그의 소나 그의 나귀나 네 이웃의 소유 중 어떤 것도 탐내지 말라.

18. 18 When the people saw the thunder and lightning and heard the trumpet and saw the mountain in smoke, they trembled with fear. They stayed at a distance

    18 ¶ 온 백성이 천둥과 번개와 나팔 소리와 연기 나는 산을 보았으므로 백성이 그것을 볼 때에 이동하여 멀리 서서

19. 19 and said to Moses, "Speak to us yourself and we will listen. But do not have God speak to us or we will die."

    19 모세에게 이르되, 당신이 우리에게 말씀하소서. 우리가 들으리이다. 부디 하나님께서 우리에게 말씀하시지 말게 하소서. 우리가 죽을까 염려하나이다, 하매

20. 20 Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid. God has come to test you, so that the fear of God will be with you to keep you from sinning."

    20 모세가 백성에게 이르되, 두려워하지 말라. 하나님께서 너희를 시험하려고 오셨나니 이것은 그분의 두려움이 너희 얼굴 앞에 있어 너희가 죄를 짓지 않게 하려 하심이라, 하니라.

21. 21 The people remained at a distance, while Moses approached the thick darkness where God was.

    21 백성은 멀리 서 있고 모세는 하나님께서 계시는 짙은 어둠으로 가까이 가니라.

22. 22 Then the LORD said to Moses, "Tell the Israelites this: You have seen for yourselves that I have spoken to you from heaven:

    22 ¶ 주께서 모세에게 이르시니라. 너는 이스라엘 자손에게 이같이 말하라. 내가 하늘로부터 너희에게 말한 것을 너희가 보았으니

23. 23 Do not make any gods to be alongside me; do not make for yourselves gods of silver or gods of gold.

    23 너희는 나와 견주기 위해 은으로 된 신들을 만들지 말고 너희를 위해 금으로 된 신들도 만들지 말라.

24. 24 "Make an altar of earth for me and sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, your sheep and goats and your cattle. Wherever I cause my name to be honored, I will come to you and bless you.

    24 ¶ 너는 나를 위해 흙으로 제단을 만들고 너의 번제 헌물과 화평 헌물과 양과 소를 희생물로 그 위에 바치라. 내가 내 이름을 기록하는 모든 곳에서 네게로 가서 네게 복을 주리라.

25. 25 If you make an altar of stones for me, do not build it with dressed stones, for you will defile it if you use a tool on it.

    25 네가 나를 위해 돌로 제단을 만들려 하거든 다듬은 돌로 그것을 쌓지 말라. 네가 돌 위로 네 연장을 들면 그것을 이미 더럽혔느니라.

26. 26 And do not go up to my altar on steps, lest your nakedness be exposed on it.

    26 너는 계단으로 내 제단에 오르지 말지니 이것은 네 벌거벗음이 그 위에서 드러나지 아니하게 하려 함이니라.
