출애굽기 23장 [킹제임스]

1. 1 "Do not spread false reports. Do not help a wicked man by being a malicious witness.

   1 너는 거짓 소문을 퍼뜨리지 말며 사악한 자와 손을 잡고 불의한 증인이 되지 말라.

2. 2 "Do not follow the crowd in doing wrong. When you give testimony in a lawsuit, do not pervert justice by siding with the crowd,

   2 ¶ 너는 군중을 따라 악을 행하지 말며 소송에서 재판을 굽게 하려고 다수를 따라 기우는 말을 하지도 말라.

3. 3 and do not show favoritism to a poor man in his lawsuit.

   3 ¶ 너는 가난한 자의 소송에서 그를 두둔하지 말지니라.

4. 4 "If you come across your enemys ox or donkey wandering off, be sure to take it back to him.

   4 ¶ 네가 만일 네 원수의 길 잃은 소나 나귀를 만나거든 반드시 그것을 그에게 되돌려줄 것이며

5. 5 If you see the donkey of someone who hates you fallen down under its load, do not leave it there; be sure you help him with it.

   5 네가 만일 너를 미워하는 자의 나귀가 짐 밑에 깔린 것을 보거든 그를 돕고 싶지 아니하여도 반드시 그와 함께 도울지니라.

6. 6 "Do not deny justice to your poor people in their lawsuits.

   6 너는 가난한 자의 소송에서 그에 대한 재판을 굽게 하지 말지니라.

7. 7 Have nothing to do with a false charge and do not put an innocent or honest person to death, for I will not acquit the guilty.

   7 너는 거짓된 일로부터 너 자신을 멀리하고 무죄한 자와 의로운 자를 죽이지 말라. 나는 사악한 자를 의롭다 하지 아니하리라.

8. 8 "Do not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds those who see and twists the words of the righteous.

   8 ¶ 너는 뇌물을 받지 말라. 뇌물은 지혜로운 자들의 눈을 어둡게 하며 의로운 자들의 말을 굽게 만드느니라.

9. 9 "Do not oppress an alien; you yourselves know how it feels to be aliens, because you were aliens in Egypt.

   9 ¶ 또한 너는 나그네를 압제하지 말라. 너희가 이집트 땅에서 나그네였으므로 나그네의 심정을 아느니라.

10. 10 "For six years you are to sow your fields and harvest the crops,

    10 너는 여섯 해 동안 네 땅에 씨를 뿌려 그것의 열매를 거두어들이되

11. 11 but during the seventh year let the land lie unplowed and unused. Then the poor among your people may get food from it, and the wild animals may eat what they leave. Do the same with your vineyard and your olive grove.

    11 일곱째 해에는 그것이 안식하며 가만히 있도록 두어서 네 백성 중에서 가난한 자들이 먹게 하라. 그들이 남기는 것은 들의 짐승들이 먹으리라. 너는 네 포도원과 올리브밭도 그와 같이 할지니라.

12. 12 "Six days do your work, but on the seventh day do not work, so that your ox and your donkey may rest and the slave born in your household, and the alien as well, may be refreshed.

    12 엿새 동안 너는 네 일을 하고 일곱째 날에는 안식할지니라. 그러면 네 소와 나귀가 안식할 것이며 네 여종의 아들과 나그네가 원기를 회복하리라.

13. 13 "Be careful to do everything I have said to you. Do not invoke the names of other gods; do not let them be heard on your lips.

    13 내가 너희에게 말한 모든 일에 신중히 행하고 다른 신들의 이름은 언급하지도 말며 네 입에서 들리게도 하지 말지니라.

14. 14 "Three times a year you are to celebrate a festival to me.

    14 ¶ 너는 한 해에 세 번 내게 명절을 지킬지니라.

15. 15 "Celebrate the Feast of Unleavened Bread; for seven days eat bread made without yeast, as I commanded you. Do this at the appointed time in the month of Abib, for in that month you came out of Egypt. "No one is to appear before me empty-handed.

    15 너는 무교절을 지키라. (내가 네게 명령한 대로 너는 아빕 월의 정해진 때에 이레 동안 누룩 없는 빵을 먹을지니 이는 그때에 네가 이집트에서 나왔기 때문이니라. 아무도 빈손으로 내 앞에 나타나지 말지니라.)

16. 16 "Celebrate the Feast of Harvest with the firstfruits of the crops you sow in your field. "Celebrate the Feast of Ingathering at the end of the year, when you gather in your crops from the field.

    16 또 네가 밭에 뿌린 것 즉 네가 수고하여 얻은 산물의 첫 열매 수확절을 지키며 네가 수고하여 얻은 산물을 밭에서 거두어들인 때에 한 해의 끝에 있는 수장절을 지키라.

17. 17 "Three times a year all the men are to appear before the Sovereign LORD.

    17 네 모든 남자는 한 해에 세 번 주 하나님 앞에 나타날지니라.

18. 18 "Do not offer the blood of a sacrifice to me along with anything containing yeast. "The fat of my festival offerings must not be kept until morning.

    18 너는 내 희생물의 피를 누룩 있는 빵과 함께 드리지 말고 내 희생물의 기름을 아침까지 남겨 두지 말지니라.

19. 19 "Bring the best of the firstfruits of your soil to the house of the LORD your God. "Do not cook a young goat in its mothers milk.

    19 너는 네 땅에서 난 첫 열매의 처음 것을 주 네 하나님의 집으로 가져올지니라. 너는 염소 새끼를 그것의 어미 젖으로 삶지 말지니라.

20. 20 "See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared.

    20 ¶ 보라, 내가 한 천사를 네 앞에 보내어 길에서 너를 지키게 하며 내가 예비한 곳으로 너를 데리고 들어가게 하리니

21. 21 Pay attention to him and listen to what he says. Do not rebel against him; he will not forgive your rebellion, since my Name is in him.

    21 그에게 주의하여 그의 목소리에 순종하고 그를 격노하게 하지 말라. 내 이름이 그의 안에 있으므로 그가 너희 범법들을 용서하지 아니하리라.

22. 22 If you listen carefully to what he says and do all that I say, I will be an enemy to your enemies and will oppose those who oppose you.

    22 그러나 네가 참으로 그의 목소리에 순종하고 내가 말하는 모든 것을 행하면 내가 네 원수들에게 원수가 되며 네 대적들에게 대적이 되리라.

23. 23 My angel will go ahead of you and bring you into the land of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites and Jebusites, and I will wipe them out.

    23 내 천사가 네 앞에 가서 너를 아모리 족속과 헷 족속과 브리스 족속과 가나안 족속과 히위 족속과 여부스 족속에게 데리고 들어가리니 내가 그들을 끊어 버리리라.

24. 24 Do not bow down before their gods or worship them or follow their practices. You must demolish them and break their sacred stones to pieces.

    24 너는 그들의 신들에게 절하지 말며 그들을 섬기지도 말고 그들의 행위대로 하지 말며 오히려 그들을 철저히 뒤엎고 그들의 형상들을 완전히 부술 것이며

25. 25 Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you,

    25 너희는 주 너희 하나님을 섬길지니라. 그러면 그가 네 빵과 물에 복을 줄 것이요, 내가 네 한가운데서 병을 제거하리라.

26. 26 and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span.

    26 ¶ 네 땅에서는 유산하는 자가 없고 수태하지 못하는 자가 없을 것이며 내가 네 날수를 채우리라.

27. 27 "I will send my terror ahead of you and throw into confusion every nation you encounter. I will make all your enemies turn their backs and run.

    27 내가 나의 두려움을 네 앞에 보내어 네가 만날 모든 백성들을 멸하고 네 모든 원수들이 자기 등을 네게로 돌리게 하리라.

28. 28 I will send the hornet ahead of you to drive the Hivites, Canaanites and Hittites out of your way.

    28 또 내가 말벌들을 네 앞에 보내리니 그것들이 히위 족속과 가나안 족속과 헷 족속을 네 앞에서 쫓아내리라.

29. 29 But I will not drive them out in a single year, because the land would become desolate and the wild animals too numerous for you.

    29 그 땅이 황폐하게 되며 들의 짐승이 번성하여 너희를 대적할까 염려하므로 내가 일 년 내에 그들을 네 앞에서 쫓아내지 아니하고

30. 30 Little by little I will drive them out before you, until you have increased enough to take possession of the land.

    30 네가 불어나 그 땅을 상속할 때까지 그들을 네 앞에서 조금씩 쫓아내리라.

31. 31 "I will establish your borders from the Red Sea to the Sea of the Philistines, and from the desert to the River. I will hand over to you the people who live in the land and you will drive them out before you.

    31 또 내가 네 경계를 홍해에서부터 블레셋 사람들의 바다까지와 사막에서부터 강까지로 정하리라. 내가 그 땅 거주민들을 너희 손에 넘겨주리니 너는 그들을 네 앞에서 쫓아낼지니라.

32. 32 Do not make a covenant with them or with their gods.

    32 너는 그들이나 혹은 그들의 신들과 언약을 맺지 말라.

33. 33 Do not let them live in your land, or they will cause you to sin against me, because the worship of their gods will certainly be a snare to you."

    33 그들은 네 땅에 거하지 못할지니 그들이 너로 하여금 내게 죄를 짓게 할까 염려하노라. 네가 그들의 신들을 섬기면 그것이 반드시 네게 올무가 되리라.
