출애굽기 3장 [킹제임스]

1. 1 Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the far side of the desert and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.

   1 한편 모세는 자기 장인 곧 미디안 제사장 이드로의 양 떼를 지켰는데 그가 그 떼를 사막 뒤쪽으로 인도하여 하나님의 산 곧 호렙으로 갔더니

2. 2 There the angel of the LORD appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up.

   2 주의 천사가 떨기나무 한가운데로부터 나오는 불꽃 속에서 그에게 나타나니라. 그가 보았는데, 보라, 그 떨기나무에 불이 붙었으나 떨기나무가 타서 없어지지 아니하였으므로

3. 3 So Moses thought, "I will go over and see this strange sight--why the bush does not burn up."

   3 모세가 이르되, 이제 내가 옆으로 돌아서 어찌하여 떨기나무가 타지 아니하는지 이 큰 광경을 보리라, 하였더라.

4. 4 When the LORD saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, "Moses! Moses!" And Moses said, "Here I am."

   4 그가 보려고 옆으로 도는 것을 주께서 보시고 하나님께서 그 떨기나무 한가운데서 그를 불러 이르시되, 모세야, 모세야, 하시니 그가 이르되, 내가 여기 있나이다, 하매

5. 5 "Do not come any closer," God said. "Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground."

   5 그분께서 이르시되, 여기로 가까이 오지 말라. 네가 서 있는 곳은 거룩한 땅이니 네 발에서 신을 벗으라, 하시고

6. 6 Then he said, "I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob." At this, Moses hid his face, because he was afraid to look at God.

   6 또 이르시되, 나는 네 아버지의 하나님 곧 아브라함의 하나님, 이삭의 하나님, 야곱의 하나님이니라, 하시니 모세가 하나님 뵙기를 두려워하였으므로 자기 얼굴을 숨기니라.

7. 7 The LORD said, "I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering.

   7 ¶ 주께서 이르시되, 내가 이집트에 있는 내 백성의 고난을 분명히 보았고 그들이 그들의 작업 감독들로 인해 부르짖는 것을 들었나니 내가 그들의 고통을 아노라.

8. 8 So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey--the home of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites.

   8 내가 그들을 이집트 사람들의 손에서 구출하고 그들을 그 땅에서 빼내어 좋고 광대한 땅, 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 땅 곧 가나안 족속과 헷 족속과 아모리 족속과 브리스 족속과 히위 족속과 여부스 족속의 처소로 데리고 올라가기 위해 내려왔노라.

9. 9 And now the cry of the Israelites has reached me, and I have seen the way the Egyptians are oppressing them.

   9 그러므로 이제, 보라, 이스라엘 자손의 부르짖음이 내게 도달하였고 이집트 사람들이 그들을 압제할 때 행한 탄압도 내가 보았나니

10. 10 So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt."

    10 그러므로 이제 오라. 내가 너를 파라오에게 보내리니 이로써 네가 내 백성 곧 이스라엘 자손을 이집트에서 데리고 나오리라, 하시니라.

11. 11 But Moses said to God, "Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?"

    11 ¶ 모세가 하나님께 이르되, 내가 누구이기에 파라오에게 가며 이스라엘 자손을 이집트에서 데리고 나오리이까? 하매

12. 12 And God said, "I will be with you. And this will be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God on this mountain."

    12 그분께서 이르시되, 내가 반드시 너와 함께하리라. 네가 백성을 이집트에서 데리고 나온 뒤에 너희가 이 산에서 하나님을 섬기리니 이것이 너에게 증표 즉 내가 너를 보내었다는 증표가 되리라, 하시므로

13. 13 Moses said to God, "Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, The God of your fathers has sent me to you, and they ask me, What is his name? Then what shall I tell them?"

    13 모세가 하나님께 이르되, 보소서, 내가 이스라엘 자손에게 가서 그들에게 말하기를, 너희 조상들의 하나님께서 나를 너희에게 보내셨느니라, 하면 그들이 내게 말하기를, 그분의 이름이 무엇이냐? 하리니 내가 그들에게 무엇이라 말하리이까? 하매

14. 14 God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: I AM has sent me to you."

    14 하나님께서 모세에게 이르시되, 나는 곧 스스로 있는 자니라, 하시고 또 이르시되, 너는 이스라엘 자손에게 이같이 말하기를, 스스로 계신 분께서 나를 너희에게 보내셨느니라, 하라, 하시니라.

15. 15 God also said to Moses, "Say to the Israelites, The LORD, the God of your fathers--the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob--has sent me to you. This is my name forever, the name by which I am to be remembered from generation to generation.

    15 또 하나님께서 모세에게 이르시되, 너는 이스라엘 자손에게 이같이 말하기를, 주 너희 조상들의 하나님 곧 아브라함의 하나님, 이삭의 하나님, 야곱의 하나님께서 나를 너희에게 보내셨느니라, 하라. 이것은 영원토록 나의 이름이요, 이것은 모든 세대에 이르는 나의 기념 호칭이니라.

16. 16 "Go, assemble the elders of Israel and say to them, The LORD, the God of your fathers--the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob--appeared to me and said: I have watched over you and have seen what has been done to you in Egypt.

    16 가서 이스라엘 장로들을 함께 모으고 그들에게 이르기를, 주 너희 조상들의 하나님 곧 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱의 하나님께서 내게 나타나 이르시되, 내가 분명히 너희를 찾아와 이집트에서 너희에게 이루어진 그 일을 보았으며

17. 17 And I have promised to bring you up out of your misery in Egypt into the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites--a land flowing with milk and honey.

    17 내가 이미 이것을 말하였노라. 즉 내가 너희를 이집트의 고난에서 빼내어 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 땅 곧 가나안 족속과 헷 족속과 아모리 족속과 브리스 족속과 히위 족속과 여부스 족속의 땅으로 데리고 올라가리라, 하셨느니라, 하면

18. 18 "The elders of Israel will listen to you. Then you and the elders are to go to the king of Egypt and say to him, The LORD, the God of the Hebrews, has met with us. Let us take a three-day journey into the desert to offer sacrifices to the LORD our God.

    18 그들이 네 음성에 귀를 기울이리라. 너는 이스라엘 장로들과 함께 이집트 왕에게 가고 너희는 그에게 이르기를, 주 히브리 사람들의 하나님께서 우리를 만나셨으니 간청하건대 이제 우리가 사흘 길을 가서 광야로 들어가 주 우리 하나님께 희생물을 드리게 하소서, 하라.

19. 19 But I know that the king of Egypt will not let you go unless a mighty hand compels him.

    19 ¶ 내가 확신하노니 이집트 왕이 너희를 가게 하지 아니하되 결코 가게 하지 아니하리니 강력한 손에 의해서도 아니하리라.

20. 20 So I will stretch out my hand and strike the Egyptians with all the wonders that I will perform among them. After that, he will let you go.

    20 내가 내 손을 내밀어 이집트 한가운데서 내가 행할 나의 모든 이적들로 그 나라를 치리니 그 뒤에야 그가 너희를 가게 하리라.

21. 21 "And I will make the Egyptians favorably disposed toward this people, so that when you leave you will not go empty-handed.

    21 내가 이집트 사람들 눈앞에서 이 백성에게 호의를 베풀어 너희가 갈 때에 빈손으로 가게 하지 아니하리니

22. 22 Every woman is to ask her neighbor and any woman living in her house for articles of silver and gold and for clothing, which you will put on your sons and daughters. And so you will plunder the Egyptians."

    22 모든 여인이 자기 이웃 사람과 자기 집에 체류하는 여인에게 은보석과 금보석과 의복을 빌리겠고 너희가 너희 아들딸들에게 그것들을 입히리라. 이렇게 너희가 이집트 사람들을 노략하리라, 하시니라.
