출애굽기 8장 [킹제임스]

1. 1 Then the LORD said to Moses, "Go to Pharaoh and say to him, This is what the LORD says: Let my people go, so that they may worship me.

   1 주께서 모세에게 이르시되, 파라오에게 가서 그에게 말하기를, 주께서 이같이 말씀하시나이다. 내 백성을 가게 하여 그들이 나를 섬기게 하라.

2. 2 If you refuse to let them go, I will plague your whole country with frogs.

   2 네가 만일 그들이 가는 것을 거부하면, 보라, 내가 개구리들로 네 온 지경을 치리라.

3. 3 The Nile will teem with frogs. They will come up into your palace and your bedroom and onto your bed, into the houses of your officials and on your people, and into your ovens and kneading troughs.

   3 강이 개구리들을 풍성히 내리니 그것들이 올라와 네 집과 네 침실과 네 침상 위와 네 신하들의 집과 네 백성과 네 화덕과 네 빵 반죽 그릇에 들어가고

4. 4 The frogs will go up on you and your people and all your officials."

   4 개구리들이 너와 네 백성과 네 모든 신하들에게 올라오리라, 하라, 하시니라.

5. 5 Then the LORD said to Moses, "Tell Aaron, Stretch out your hand with your staff over the streams and canals and ponds, and make frogs come up on the land of Egypt."

   5 ¶ 또 주께서 모세에게 이르시되, 아론에게 이르기를, 네 막대기를 잡고 네 손을 시내들과 강들과 연못들 위로 내밀어 개구리들이 이집트 땅에 올라오게 하라, 할지니라, 하시므로

6. 6 So Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt, and the frogs came up and covered the land.

   6 아론이 이집트의 물들 위로 자기 손을 내밀매 개구리들이 올라와 이집트 땅을 덮으니

7. 7 But the magicians did the same things by their secret arts; they also made frogs come up on the land of Egypt.

   7 마술사들도 자기들의 마술로 그와 같이 행하여 이집트 땅에 개구리들이 올라오게 하였더라.

8. 8 Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said, "Pray to the LORD to take the frogs away from me and my people, and I will let your people go to offer sacrifices to the LORD."

   8 ¶ 그때에 파라오가 모세와 아론을 불러 이르되, 주께 간구하여 그분께서 개구리들을 나와 내 백성에게서 옮기시게 하라. 내가 백성을 가게 하리니 그들이 주께 희생물을 드릴 것이니라, 하매

9. 9 Moses said to Pharaoh, "I leave to you the honor of setting the time for me to pray for you and your officials and your people that you and your houses may be rid of the frogs, except for those that remain in the Nile."

   9 모세가 파라오에게 이르되, 나보다 먼저 영광을 취하소서. 내가 언제 왕과 왕의 신하들과 왕의 백성을 위해 간구하여 왕과 왕의 집에서 그 개구리들을 멸함으로써 그것들이 강에만 남아 있게 하리이까? 하니

10. 10 "Tomorrow," Pharaoh said. Moses replied, "It will be as you say, so that you may know there is no one like the LORD our God.

    10 그가 이르되, 내일이니라, 하므로 모세가 이르되, 그 일이 왕의 말씀대로 될지니 이로써 주 우리 하나님 같은 분이 없음을 왕께서 아시리이다.

11. 11 The frogs will leave you and your houses, your officials and your people; they will remain only in the Nile."

    11 개구리들이 왕과 왕의 집과 왕의 신하들과 왕의 백성에게서 떠나 강에만 있으리이다, 하고

12. 12 After Moses and Aaron left Pharaoh, Moses cried out to the LORD about the frogs he had brought on Pharaoh.

    12 모세와 아론이 파라오에게서 물러간 뒤 모세가 주께서 파라오를 대적하려고 내리신 개구리들로 인해 그분께 부르짖으매

13. 13 And the LORD did what Moses asked. The frogs died in the houses, in the courtyards and in the fields.

    13 주께서 모세의 말대로 행하시니 개구리들이 집과 마을과 들에서 나와 죽으므로

14. 14 They were piled into heaps, and the land reeked of them.

    14 그들이 그것들을 함께 모아 무더기로 쌓으매 땅이 악취를 내었더라.

15. 15 But when Pharaoh saw that there was relief, he hardened his heart and would not listen to Moses and Aaron, just as the LORD had said.

    15 그러나 일이 연기된 것을 파라오가 보고는 주께서 이미 말씀하신 대로 그가 자기 마음을 강퍅하게 하여 그들의 말에 귀를 기울이지 아니하였더라.

16. 16 Then the LORD said to Moses, "Tell Aaron, Stretch out your staff and strike the dust of the ground, and throughout the land of Egypt the dust will become gnats."

    16 ¶ 주께서 모세에게 이르시되, 아론에게 말하기를, 네 막대기를 내밀어 땅의 티끌을 치라, 하라. 그것이 이집트 온 땅 전역에서 이가 되리라, 하시니

17. 17 They did this, and when Aaron stretched out his hand with the staff and struck the dust of the ground, gnats came upon men and animals. All the dust throughout the land of Egypt became gnats.

    17 그들이 그대로 행하였더라. 아론이 막대기를 잡고 자기 손을 내밀어 땅의 티끌을 치매 그것이 사람과 짐승 속에서 이가 되었으며 땅의 모든 티끌이 이집트 온 땅 전역에서 이가 되었더라.

18. 18 But when the magicians tried to produce gnats by their secret arts, they could not. And the gnats were on men and animals.

    18 마술사들이 자기들의 마술로 그와 같이 행하여 이를 내려 하였으나 할 수 없었더라. 이에 사람과 짐승에게 이가 있었으므로

19. 19 The magicians said to Pharaoh, "This is the finger of God." But Pharaohs heart was hard and he would not listen, just as the LORD had said.

    19 그때에 마술사들이 파라오에게 이르되, 이것은 하나님의 손가락이니이다, 하였으나 주께서 이미 말씀하신 대로 파라오의 마음이 강퍅해져서 그가 그들의 말에 귀를 기울이지 아니하였더라.

20. 20 Then the LORD said to Moses, "Get up early in the morning and confront Pharaoh as he goes to the water and say to him, This is what the LORD says: Let my people go, so that they may worship me.

    20 ¶ 주께서 모세에게 이르시되, 아침에 일찍 일어나 파라오 앞에 서라. 보라, 그가 물로 나오리니 그에게 말하기를, 주께서 이같이 말씀하시나이다. 내 백성을 가게 하여 그들이 나를 섬기게 하라.

21. 21 If you do not let my people go, I will send swarms of flies on you and your officials, on your people and into your houses. The houses of the Egyptians will be full of flies, and even the ground where they are.

    21 그러지 아니하고 네가 만일 내 백성을 가게 하지 아니하면, 보라, 내가 너와 네 신하들과 네 백성과 네 집에 파리 떼를 보내리니 이집트 사람들의 집에 파리 떼가 가득할 것이며 그들이 거하는 땅에도 그러하리라.

22. 22 "But on that day I will deal differently with the land of Goshen, where my people live; no swarms of flies will be there, so that you will know that I, the LORD, am in this land.

    22 그 날에 내가 내 백성이 거하는 고센 땅을 분리하여 거기에는 파리 떼가 없게 하리니 이것은 내가 땅의 한가운데서 주인 줄을 네가 알게 하려 함이라.

23. 23 I will make a distinction between my people and your people. This miraculous sign will occur tomorrow."

    23 내가 내 백성과 네 백성 사이에 구분을 두리니 내일 이 표적이 있으리라, 하라, 하시고

24. 24 And the LORD did this. Dense swarms of flies poured into Pharaohs palace and into the houses of his officials, and throughout Egypt the land was ruined by the flies.

    24 주께서 그와 같이 행하시니 극심한 파리 떼가 파라오의 집과 그의 신하들의 집과 이집트 온 땅으로 들어와 그 땅이 파리 떼로 인해 부패되었더라.

25. 25 Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said, "Go, sacrifice to your God here in the land."

    25 ¶ 파라오가 모세와 아론을 불러 이르되, 너희는 가서 이 땅에서 너희 하나님께 희생물을 바치라, 하매

26. 26 But Moses said, "That would not be right. The sacrifices we offer the LORD our God would be detestable to the Egyptians. And if we offer sacrifices that are detestable in their eyes, will they not stone us?

    26 모세가 이르되, 그리함은 합당하지 아니하니이다. 우리가 이집트 사람들이 가증히 여기는 것을 주 우리 하나님께 희생물로 바칠 터인데, 보소서, 우리가 이집트 사람들 눈앞에서 그들이 가증히 여기는 것을 희생물로 바치면 그들이 우리를 돌로 치지 아니하리이까?

27. 27 We must take a three-day journey into the desert to offer sacrifices to the LORD our God, as he commands us."

    27 우리가 사흘 길을 가서 광야로 들어가 주 우리 하나님께서 우리에게 명령하시는 대로 그분께 희생물을 바치려 하나이다, 하매

28. 28 Pharaoh said, "I will let you go to offer sacrifices to the LORD your God in the desert, but you must not go very far. Now pray for me."

    28 파라오가 이르되, 내가 너희를 가게 하여 너희가 광야에서 주 너희 하나님께 희생물을 바치게 하리라. 다만 너희는 너무 멀리 가지는 말라. 나를 위해 간구하라, 하매

29. 29 Moses answered, "As soon as I leave you, I will pray to the LORD, and tomorrow the flies will leave Pharaoh and his officials and his people. Only be sure that Pharaoh does not act deceitfully again by not letting the people go to offer sacrifices to the LORD."

    29 모세가 이르되, 보소서, 내가 왕 앞에서 물러가 주께 간구하리니 내일 파리 떼가 파라오와 그의 신하들과 그의 백성에게서 떠나리이다. 그러나 파라오께서는 백성이 가서 주께 희생물을 바치지 못하게 함으로써 다시는 속이지 마소서, 하니라.

30. 30 Then Moses left Pharaoh and prayed to the LORD,

    30 모세가 파라오에게서 물러가 주께 간구하매

31. 31 and the LORD did what Moses asked: The flies left Pharaoh and his officials and his people; not a fly remained.

    31 주께서 모세의 말대로 행하사 파라오와 그의 신하들과 그의 백성에게서 파리 떼를 옮기시니 한 마리도 남지 아니하였더라.

32. 32 But this time also Pharaoh hardened his heart and would not let the people go.

    32 파라오가 이때에도 자기 마음을 강퍅하게 하여 백성을 가게 하지 아니하였더라.
