출애굽기 9장 [킹제임스]

1. 1 Then the LORD said to Moses, "Go to Pharaoh and say to him, This is what the LORD, the God of the Hebrews, says: "Let my people go, so that they may worship me."

   1 그때에 주께서 모세에게 이르시되, 파라오에게 들어가 그에게 이르기를, 주 히브리 사람들의 하나님께서 이같이 말씀하시나이다. 내 백성을 가게 하여 그들이 나를 섬기게 하라.

2. 2 If you refuse to let them go and continue to hold them back,

   2 네가 만일 그들이 가는 것을 거부하고 그들을 여전히 잡아 두면

3. 3 the hand of the LORD will bring a terrible plague on your livestock in the field--on your horses and donkeys and camels and on your cattle and sheep and goats.

   3 보라, 주의 손이 들에 있는 네 가축 곧 말들과 나귀들과 낙타들과 소들과 양들에게 임하여 매우 심한 전염병이 있으리라.

4. 4 But the LORD will make a distinction between the livestock of Israel and that of Egypt, so that no animal belonging to the Israelites will die."

   4 또 주가 이스라엘의 가축과 이집트의 가축을 분리하리니 이스라엘 자손에게 속한 모든 것 중에서는 하나도 죽지 아니하리라, 하라, 하시고

5. 5 The LORD set a time and said, "Tomorrow the LORD will do this in the land."

   5 주께서 정해진 때를 지정하여 이르시되, 내일 주가 이 땅에서 이 일을 행하리라, 하시더니

6. 6 And the next day the LORD did it: All the livestock of the Egyptians died, but not one animal belonging to the Israelites died.

   6 다음 날에 주께서 그 일을 행하시매 이집트의 모든 가축은 죽었으나 이스라엘 자손의 가축 중에서는 하나도 죽지 아니하였더라.

7. 7 Pharaoh sent men to investigate and found that not even one of the animals of the Israelites had died. Yet his heart was unyielding and he would not let the people go.

   7 파라오가 사람을 보내었는데, 보라, 이스라엘 사람들의 가축은 하나도 죽지 아니하였더라. 그럼에도 파라오의 마음이 강퍅해져서 그가 백성을 가게 하지 아니하였더라.

8. 8 Then the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, "Take handfuls of soot from a furnace and have Moses toss it into the air in the presence of Pharaoh.

   8 ¶ 주께서 모세와 아론에게 이르시되, 화로의 재를 두 움큼 너희에게로 가져온 뒤 모세가 파라오의 눈앞에서 하늘을 향해 그것을 뿌리라.

9. 9 It will become fine dust over the whole land of Egypt, and festering boils will break out on men and animals throughout the land."

   9 그 재가 이집트 온 땅에서 작은 티끌이 되어 이집트 온 땅 전역에서 사람과 짐승에게 물집을 내며 터지는 종기가 되리라, 하시므로

10. 10 So they took soot from a furnace and stood before Pharaoh. Moses tossed it into the air, and festering boils broke out on men and animals.

    10 그들이 화로의 재를 취한 뒤 파라오 앞에 서서 모세가 하늘을 향해 그것을 뿌리니 그것이 사람과 짐승에게 물집을 내며 터지는 종기가 되니라.

11. 11 The magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils that were on them and on all the Egyptians.

    11 마술사들이 그 종기로 인해 모세 앞에 설 수 없었으니 이는 종기가 마술사들과 모든 이집트 사람들에게 생겼기 때문이더라.

12. 12 But the LORD hardened Pharaohs heart and he would not listen to Moses and Aaron, just as the LORD had said to Moses.

    12 주께서 이미 모세에게 말씀하신 대로 주께서 파라오의 마음을 강퍅하게 하셨으므로 그가 그들의 말에 귀를 기울이지 아니하였더라.

13. 13 Then the LORD said to Moses, "Get up early in the morning, confront Pharaoh and say to him, This is what the LORD, the God of the Hebrews, says: Let my people go, so that they may worship me,

    13 ¶ 주께서 모세에게 이르시되, 아침에 일찍 일어나 파라오 앞에 서서 그에게 말하기를, 주 히브리 사람들의 하나님께서 이같이 말씀하시나이다. 내 백성을 가게 하여 그들이 나를 섬기게 하라.

14. 14 or this time I will send the full force of my plagues against you and against your officials and your people, so you may know that there is no one like me in all the earth.

    14 내가 이번에는 나의 모든 재앙을 네 마음과 네 신하들과 네 백성에게 보내어 온 땅에 나 같은 자가 없음을 네가 알게 하리라.

15. 15 For by now I could have stretched out my hand and struck you and your people with a plague that would have wiped you off the earth.

    15 이제 내가 내 손을 내밀어 역병으로 너와 네 백성을 치리니 네가 땅에서 끊어지리라.

16. 16 But I have raised you up for this very purpose, that I might show you my power and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.

    16 바로 이런 까닭으로 내가 너를 일으켰나니 이것은 네 안에서 내 권능을 보이고 내 이름을 두루 온 땅에 밝히 알리려 함이니라.

17. 17 You still set yourself against my people and will not let them go.

    17 네가 여전히 내 백성을 대적하여 너 자신을 높이며 이로써 그들을 가게 하지 아니하려느냐?

18. 18 Therefore, at this time tomorrow I will send the worst hailstorm that has ever fallen on Egypt, from the day it was founded till now.

    18 보라, 내일 이맘때에 내가 매우 심한 우박을 내릴 터인데 그와 같은 것은 이집트가 창건된 이래로 지금까지 거기에 있지 아니하였느니라.

19. 19 Give an order now to bring your livestock and everything you have in the field to a place of shelter, because the hail will fall on every man and animal that has not been brought in and is still out in the field, and they will die."

    19 그러므로 이제 사람을 보내어 네 가축과 들에 있는 네 모든 소유를 모으라. 사람이 들에서 발견하였으나 집으로 데려가지 않은 모든 사람과 짐승 위에 우박이 내려 그들을 죽게 하리라, 하라, 하시니라.

20. 20 Those officials of Pharaoh who feared the word of the LORD hurried to bring their slaves and their livestock inside.

    20 파라오의 신하들 가운데서 주의 말씀을 두려워한 자는 자기 종들과 가축을 피하게 하여 집으로 들여보냈으나

21. 21 But those who ignored the word of the LORD left their slaves and livestock in the field.

    21 주의 말씀에 관심을 두지 아니한 자는 자기 종들과 가축을 들에 두었더라.

22. 22 Then the LORD said to Moses, "Stretch out your hand toward the sky so that hail will fall all over Egypt--on men and animals and on everything growing in the fields of Egypt."

    22 ¶ 주께서 모세에게 이르시되, 너는 하늘을 향해 네 손을 내밀어 이집트 온 땅에 곧 이집트 땅 전역에 사람과 짐승과 들의 모든 채소 위에 우박이 내리게 하라, 하시니

23. 23 When Moses stretched out his staff toward the sky, the LORD sent thunder and hail, and lightning flashed down to the ground. So the LORD rained hail on the land of Egypt;

    23 모세가 하늘을 향해 자기 막대기를 내밀매 주께서 천둥과 우박을 보내셨고 불이 땅바닥에서 달려 나가더라. 주께서 이집트 땅 위에 우박을 내리시니

24. 24 hail fell and lightning flashed back and forth. It was the worst storm in all the land of Egypt since it had become a nation.

    24 이에 우박과 또 그 우박과 섞인 불이 심히 맹렬히 떨어졌는데 그와 같은 것은 이집트가 국가가 된 이래로 그곳의 온 땅에 없었더라.

25. 25 Throughout Egypt hail struck everything in the fields--both men and animals; it beat down everything growing in the fields and stripped every tree.

    25 우박이 이집트 온 땅 전역에서 사람과 짐승을 막론하고 들에 있는 모든 것을 쳤으며 우박이 들의 모든 채소를 치고 들의 모든 나무를 꺾었으나

26. 26 The only place it did not hail was the land of Goshen, where the Israelites were.

    26 이스라엘 자손이 있는 고센 땅에만 우박이 없었더라.

27. 27 Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron. "This time I have sinned," he said to them. "The LORD is in the right, and I and my people are in the wrong.

    27 ¶ 파라오가 사람을 보내어 모세와 아론을 부르고 그들에게 이르되, 이번에는 내가 죄를 지었노라. 주께서는 의로우시고 나와 내 백성은 사악하도다.

28. 28 Pray to the LORD, for we have had enough thunder and hail. I will let you go; you dont have to stay any longer."

    28 주께 간구하여 (이만하면 충분하니) 더 이상 강력한 천둥과 우박이 없게 하라. 내가 너희를 가게 하리니 너희가 더 이상 머무르지 아니하리라, 하매

29. 29 Moses replied, "When I have gone out of the city, I will spread out my hands in prayer to the LORD. The thunder will stop and there will be no more hail, so you may know that the earth is the LORDS.

    29 모세가 그에게 이르되, 내가 도시에서 나가는 즉시 주를 향해 내 손을 넓게 펼치리니 그러면 천둥이 그치고 더 이상 우박이 있지 아니하리이다. 이로써 땅이 주의 것인 줄을 왕이 알리이다.

30. 30 But I know that you and your officials still do not fear the LORD God."

    30 그러나 왕과 왕의 신하들에 관하여는 당신들이 아직도 주 하나님을 두려워하지 아니할 줄을 내가 아나이다, 하니라.

31. 31 (The flax and barley were destroyed, since the barley had headed and the flax was in bloom.

    31 아마와 보리가 상하였으니 이는 보리는 이삭이 패었고 아마는 꼬투리가 나왔기 때문이더라.

32. 32 The wheat and spelt, however, were not destroyed, because they ripen later.)

    32 그러나 밀과 호밀은 상하지 아니하였으니 이는 그것들이 자라지 아니하였기 때문이더라.

33. 33 Then Moses left Pharaoh and went out of the city. He spread out his hands toward the LORD; the thunder and hail stopped, and the rain no longer poured down on the land.

    33 모세가 파라오를 떠나 도시에서 나가 주를 향해 자기 손을 넓게 펼치매 천둥과 우박이 그치고 비가 땅에 쏟아지지 아니하니라.

34. 34 When Pharaoh saw that the rain and hail and thunder had stopped, he sinned again: He and his officials hardened their hearts.

    34 파라오가 비와 우박과 천둥이 그친 것을 볼 때에 더욱더 죄를 지어 자기 마음을 강퍅하게 하였고 그의 신하들도 그리하였더라.

35. 35 So Pharaohs heart was hard and he would not let the Israelites go, just as the LORD had said through Moses.

    35 주께서 이미 모세를 통해 말씀하신 대로 파라오의 마음이 강퍅해져서 그가 이스라엘 자손을 가게 하지 아니하였더라.
