메시아 음반이 여럿 있지만 그 가운데서 저는 일 년에 몇 차례 Gladys Knight이라는 흑인 여가수가 부르는 이 노래를 크게 틀어넣고 듣습니다. 온 몸에서 열정이 묻어나오기 때문에 너무 좋습니다.  잘 아시다시피 헨델의 메시아는 100% 영어 킹제임스 성경을 가사로 쓰고 있습니다.아주 복음적입니다. 그래서 일년에 몇 차례 들으면 참 좋습니다. 이사야서 40장 9절을 근거로 한 헨델의 메시아의 한 부분입니다. O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift [it] up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!
